Every child that enters the child welfare system has been abandoned, neglected or abused. They need a place to call home for a single night, a few months or even forever. Foster care is providing a safe place for a child to sleep, eat and receive shelter. It’s also giving care-emotionally, physically, mentally and socially-so that a child can heal from past trauma and find freedom to thrive in safety.

The idea of helping a child thru this can seem overwhelming but most kids simply need a trusted adult and felt safety. Your advocation for them can literally change the trajectory of their life in incredible ways.

And we at Foster Florida are here to support you in every step.

We personally know the ins and outs of foster care and we can answer questions about licensing, court, visitation, therapy and so much more. We also exist to provided local community support for all of our frontline families.
